Hi, I’m Carla Filipakis, founder of the Business Mums Society, a leading community for women in business, and proud owner of Decorati, Sydney’s go-to educational kids’ activity business, established in 2014.
When I started Decorati, I faced the challenges of balancing motherhood, entrepreneurship, and personal well-being. I realised there were few platforms offering real support, networking opportunities, and resources for women—especially mums—trying to grow their businesses.
That’s why I created the Business Mums Society: a vibrant networking hub for women with ambition, dreams, and drive—whether you’re a mum or not. This community is for all women looking to connect, collaborate, and thrive in business and beyond.
